Every rescue has those pets that aren't able to be adopted for many different reasons.  Some rescues call this hospice or sanctuary but we call it Assisted Living. The pets are living with foster families as members of their family.  They are loved and will be taken care of for the rest of their lives no matter how long or the expense.

Daisy was adopted as a 7 week old puppy and returned when she was 2 years old.  She was completely unsocialized and emotionally neglected.  We will continue to work with Daisy in hopes that one day she can have a family of her own but as of today she has only the rescue.

Pez is living with the Stevens Family.  He goes on hikes, loves to play and sleeps with a different member of the family each night.  He loves his foster brother Pal and is learning to enjoy his foster brother, Friskers more and more each day.  For his whole story please check out his webpage Pez Newz.

 Effie Ann was returned to us when her adopter went into a Retirement community.  What no one knew was that Effie Ann's cancer had returned.  Effie Ann has been treated for her disease and is doing well.  Effie Ann is living with the Glazer family and bossing everyone else around.
