Thank you so much for taking in such a wonderful dog. He is now a therapy dog and agility champion. If anyone out there has a tricolor Collie mix who was found along with his brother in Holly Springs and was for adoption (his front leg had an injury) at Petsound, please let me know. I adopted his brother Forrest (his name at Petsound was Tuesday) 3.5 y ago, and I would love to know what happened to his brother.

I am so thankful that my little man Griffon found his way home. I have always longed for a little dog that needed me. Griffon makes me happy everyday he is in my life. Thank you to all that made Griffon part of my family.

Hi all -
Just wanted to send a few photos of Satchel. We are coming up on one
year of having him in our family and we ALL couldn't be happier. He is
such an angel. You never would know that he had a broken leg. He is SOLID
muscle, quite the stud. He keeps up with us in the yard like a trooper
and supervises all of our landscaping work. He also runs with us a few
times a week and LOVES it. Ever the master snuggler though, he remains
a big lover underneath it all and regularly sits on top of us when we
settle into the couch or side chair to watch television. We've gotten
quite used to the feeling of 75 lbs. of dog love in our laps.
Thank you again for rescuing him, so we could in-turn rescue him. We
can't imagine our life, home and family without him...
Best regards,
Cary & Will

Adopted December 28, 2006. We can't believe that we ever had a life without Hunter. He is our angel. He helped us to get ready to welcome in our newest baby (human this time).

Thank you so much for connecting me to the new wonderful man in my life. Webster has been such a gentlemen since he has come to stay with me. He enjoys our walks and showing off his new collars to the neighborhood pups. There's nothing more fun than a ride in the car to the treat shop once a week to play with some new friends. Webster has even gotten to visit grandma this past weekend when we went to the beach. He also had a chance to romp around and join in a mini reunion with my best friends from high school and their sweet pups his size. Of course everyone was so happy to pet and love him because he is just too cute a cuddler. He still isn't happy taking his baths, but tolerates it because he knows it grabs the ladies attention. He is even less thrilled to have his handsome coat brushed and combed, but he is doing much better. He is due for a fancy hair cut this coming week. I will be sure to send the pictures as soon as I take them. He still has trouble every now and then with stairs when there are four or more and they are steep, but we are working hard to get him going up and down steps normally. Thank you again for giving me the opportunity to find the perfect companion and roomie I've always searched for.

Hi to our friends at SPARR:
Tomorrow is Oprah's (now known as Gracie) big adoption celebration.
Thank you so much for the care that you gave to Gracie and
I want to say thank you for the opportunity to bring her into my home.
She has been such a funny and loving girl that brings sunshine
to every single day.
She is doing so well - and has been enjoying her bones, her clothes
and many many many belly rubs. She lost her brother the cat, Georgie
George, right before
the holidays and she is thinking about a little brother or sister to
join her in her many adventures.
Thank you, SPARR!
God bless, Tammi Kay & Gracie

we would like you to know how much we appreciate you allowing us to
adopt Victoria (Tori)
she has turned into the most loving of dogs- she is house trained-
loves her shelter bed (she no longer needs a crate)
she rides in the car in a dog car seat- we have taken her to Florida
to a friend's house- she had excellent manners- she has been kenneled
at my vet's-
they take great care of her and she is tolerating being groomed ( not
her favorite)
her tail is no longer buried it is up and curled and wagging- she
will even give kisses-
she has responded much faster than we expected

God put special angels on this earth to take care of his small creatures. One of those special angels, is undoubtedly Janet Brown.
We met Janet and her wonderful family when we adopted out sweet Sophie from SPARR last October. Janet fosters so many dogs and loves every one of them. She is such an amazing lady who is able to give each resuce the love and attention they need, but then is able to let them go to a forever family. She and her family ( including her dogs) have become a part of our family as she still allows our little Sophie to be a part of her family with visits and play times with her brothers ( and Madelyn and Tyler) I thank God for her every day and SPARR is lucky to have such a wonderful giving person as part of the organization.
Much love and thanks to Foster Mom, Janet Brown.
